Optifine is not installed by default! I highly recommend installing it ASAP after installing the modpack. You will see a message on how to install it on your first startup. Simply drop it into your mods folder. It's that simple. Here's a link to the download for Optifine: http://optifine.net/adloadx?f=OptiFine_1.10.2_HD_U_D7.jar
Don't forget to set your Memory! The modpack will lag and be virtually unplayable if you do not set your memory value (ram) in the Twitch App. Simply go to Settings -> Minecraft and then find the Memory Slider and adjust it. I recommend giving a minimum of 4GB, with anything lower then 10GB being recommended.
Getting constant lag spikes due to memory filling up? Here are some special flags you can add to your Twitch App to help Java run a lot better in this heavy modded environment.
