Welcome traveler, to DefianceCraft!
In this world there is much to do, DefianceCraft is made to bring more exploration and RPG aspects to Minecraft. You can forge custom tools with Tinkers' Construct, fight dragons and other mythical creatures form Ice & Fire, find one of hundreds of dungeons from the multiple structure mods there are. There is lots of magic aspects in this Modpack stemming from Eidolon and Corail Tombstones which include rituals that allow you to enchant tools over the basic vanilla values, collect souls from different creatures, change the weather, etc. If that doesn't sound like your thing then settle down, erect bustling cities with Minecolonies, manage your citizens, and "Create" crazy contraptions to automate general tasks with the Create mod! Overall there's so much to do in Iron Deficiency: Defiance you'll be busy for hours, days, maybe weeks! I have big plans for this Modpack and this is just the start!

γ» Explore the beautiful new world generation brought to you by Terraforged, that almost feels alive thanks to mods such as Dynamic Surroundings.
γ» Over 100+ new biomes and structures to explore in the overworld thanks to Oh The Biomes You'll Go, Biomes O' Plenty, When Dungeons Arise, Valhelsia Structures and many more!
γ» Reworked End dimension and game progression with the use of Better End Reforked, The Outer End, and End Remastered.
γ» The Nethers been redone with tons of biomes and items from Infernal Expansion as well as some of the biome mods.

γ» Figure out ways of crafting the new weapons and tools with the smeltery and foundry with the new update of Tinker's Construct 3, bringing bows, weapons, tools, and soon... armor!
γ» Using the Create mod, it has been made possible to "create", hehe, huge machines and factories to automate your tasks.
γ» Need more storage? For in base storage we went with a classic storage mod, Iron Chests, and to expand your inventory storage we've brought in Sophsitocated Backpacks.
π» Decorate:
γ» Thanks to mods such as Chisel, Chipped, and Framed Blocks, there are endless combinations of blocks to build your beautiful houses or underground laboratories with.
γ» Use Chisels & Bits to sculpt blocks pixel by pixel, allowing you to create builds with crazy amounts of details.
γ» Other mods such as Builders Crafts and Additions add actual working furniture to the game

γ» Create complex multi-block kitchens with Cooking for Blockheads which supports food and tools from any of the other food mods.
γ» Hundred's, thousands of food options come from Farmer's Delight and Pam's Harvestcraft, adding fruit trees, crops, and so many meals you can make to satisfy your hunger.
γ» Make sure you make a wide assortment of food to keep your stats up, as the mod The Spice Of Life: Potato Edition makes food types diminish in nutrition the more you eat them.
π€ Make Friends:
γ» Train your dogs to undertake many tasks using the Doggy Talents mod, allowing you to level up your dogs and put points into different skills.
γ» Create bustling communities with Mine Colonies! Create a village and assign your citizens jobs, make sure to defend them.
γ» From the Straw Golem mod; Bailey, at least that's what we like to call him, will take care of your farm while you're away!
π Performance:
γ» Magnesium (Sodium Forge Port) is a brand new optimization mod that multiplies your performance, aiding fps immensely.
γ» We've got plenty of performance enhancing mods such as Starlight and FerriteCore to name a couple, to speed up the backend of Minecraft and give you an extremely smooth experience!
β And More:
γ» There is a quest book to guide you through all the intended features of my Modpack using FTB Quests.
γ» No additional HUD, made to keep the player from getting overwhelmed.
FAQ: (These are filler questions ATM)
Q. Can I use Optifine?
A. Yes, there is a tutorial down below but after some intensive testing I've found that Optifine actually increases load times by almost 3x. If you have excess fps and are dying to use shaders then you can change over to Optifine* until pupil (iris forge port) is stable.
Q. Where can I donate?

Q. Do you plan to update the pack?
A. At the moment with the Modpack being in an alpha version, yes. Once I feel it's more stable I may put out some small content updates based off community feedback but most of the updates will be coming to the server!
Q. Where can I get help for the Modpack?
A. You can ask questions on my Discord under the Minecraft Questions channel or by submitting a support ticket in the Support channel.
Known Issues:
- DT Cactus and Roots don't connect due to an incompatibility with magnesium.
* If you would like to change to Optifine you must open the mods folder and remove: magnesium-1.5.jar, dynamiclightsreforged-mc1.16.5_v1.0.1.jar, and magnesium_extras-mc1.16.5_v1.3.1.jar then drag Optifine in.
