You spawn completely empty-handed, with absolute zero gear. To stand a chance against what is roaming around, you will have to scavenge the ruins and craft your own military arsenal and firearms using the TACZ system. But don't think a gun will protect you. The entities hunting you do not fear your bullets; they feed on your terror.

Every step into the absolute darkness is a trap. The ultra-realistic sound design will make you doubt your own sanity: you will hear noises that don't exist, and you will see silhouettes vanishing right before you blink.

• Sensory Overload: An oppressive darkness and spatialized audio that turns every distant scream into a personal threat.

• Co-op Paranoia: Use proximity voice chat (Simple Voice Chat) to listen to your friends scream... or to hear them disappear one by one.
