This update replaces the previous death recovery system with a more reliable and visually distinct alternative.

⚖️ Death & Recovery Changes

  • Removed Corpse & Corpse x Curios API Compat: The body-based recovery system has been decommissioned to resolve potential inventory desync issues.

  • Added Gravestone Mod: Replaced the previous system with a traditional gravestone mechanic, ensuring your items are safely stored in a block upon death.

  • Added Gravestone Curios Compat: Full integration for your accessory slots, ensuring all Curios items are properly retained within the gravestone.

⚠️ Update Notice

  • Active Deaths: If you have an unrecovered body from the Corpse mod in your world, you MUST retrieve your items before updating.

  • Item Safety: Once the update is applied, any old corpses will disappear, and their inventories will be lost.

  • New Mechanics: Upon your first death in version 2.4.0, you will receive an obituary providing the exact coordinates of your gravestone.
