I highly recommend installing Optifine to ease the performance issues. These are not baby packs. They are recourse demanding high end packs.

 

Dan's choice refers to a series of modpacks on different versions of Minecraft that include either very popular or my favorite mods

 

 

Dan's Choice Pack 1.7.10 [will] have different gamemodes! /ftb_mode set normal /ftb_mode set hardcore and /ftb_mode set hell

Why would you want to play on a Dan's Signature Pack?

• These packs are on almost every release version of Minecraft. If you feel like playing 1.2.5 one day and 1.4.7 the next day, you don't loose immersion.
• Despite these packs being recourse intensive, they are pretty good when coming to FPS rates.
• These packs have a lot of mods that make any avid Minecraft player happy. Even if you hate tech mods, you have lots of magic mods to compensate and vise versa.

 

 

How do I install different versions?

1.  Search Dan's Choice Pack on Curse. It may say a version of Minecraft you don't want to install
2. Click on the logo to access the description
3. Click the versions tab
4. Find the version of Minecraft you want based off the title of the package. For Example, DCP1.7 would mean Dan's Choice Pack 1.7.10, etc.
5. Click the download button next to the package

If you click the download button, it will install the version that is on the current screen, so until Curse adds a version picker for modpacks, this is the way you'll have to do it.
