This is the modpack i use, it has DRAGONS! Sirens! DUNGEONS! a whole new dimension, furniture, cooking utensils and A VARIETY of new crops and food for farming. you can also turn into a mermaid...AND A WHOLE LOT MORE. so if you're interested, install the modpack and have a ton of fun. 

the ice and fire mod includes a wide range of both greek myth creatures and fantasy creatures to kill, tame and ride. 

the mermod allows you create a sea necklace, where using the curios mod, will allow you to wear it, the necklace grants you a mermaid tail that is dyeable in any shade, and unlimited breath underwater. 

alex's mobs, untamed wilds, aquaculture 2, ecologists, mowzies mobs, twilight forest, queen bee and bumblezone all include a huge variety of animals, magical creatures, tamable animals, bosses and useful items. the twilight forest mod also includes a whole new dimension. 

goblin trader mod spawns in a cute goblin that you can trade resources for emeralds or emeralds for resources, there is both an overworld and nether variant, he will come to you when you are mining. 

waystones allows you to teleport between waystones, you can find them in villages, in the wild or craft them. 

towns and towers improves villages. 

vending machines can be used to buy items for emeralds, they spawn in villages. 

trade cycling allows you to cycle through villager trades without breaking the job blocks.

easy villagers allows you to pick up villagers in your inventory and craft farms to put them in, such as a breeder, and iron farm. 

sophisticated backpacks gives you a backpack that you can upgrade using iron, gold, diamond, and netherite to achieve more inventory space. (they are good for mining) 

reap allows you to right click on crops without needing to break the crop to receive the food item. 

natures compass allows you to find a certain biome. 

mr crayfish's furniture mod, macaws bridges, doors, windows, fences and gates, and trapdoors, decorative blocks, decorative delight, beautify, and another furniture mod all include various furnitures to decorate houses with. 

chef's delight (plus multiple addons), and croptopia include a wide range of new food items, recipes to make meals, cooking and storage blocks as well as many new crops to plant and grow. 

superior hammers and spades allows you to mine or dig in a 3x3 area. 

placeable items allows for vanilla minecraft items such as a potion bottle or ender eye to be placed down. 

map atlas allows you to craft a book with a map inside for you to keep track of your surroundings, as well as put symbols to remind you of a place and label whatever you want. 

gems and jewels has a wide range of gems and jewels like opals, saphires, rubies and more, these can be given to villagers, can make rings, armour, and weapons. 

framed blocks allows you to craft blocks like slopes and replace its look with any block. just right click with the block you want and it'll take that look. 

dungeons crawl generates underground dungeons with 4 layers for the player to explore and find very good loot. 

dragon mount legacy is the same as the dragon mount mod, where you can hatch and raise a dragon and eventually ride them. 

connected glass allows you to craft glass that is very clear and connects like one big block. 

comforts allows you to craft a sleeping bag, sleeping in it will NOT reset your spawn if you have already made a bed. these are good for traveling. 

camera mod allows you to take photos in-game, you can put them on display using a frame, you can also upload photos from your computers files.

freecam mod gives you the ability when pressing F6 you can move the camera out of the players body and see the surroundings without restrictions, just remember to click F6 again to go back to the players body.

cosmetic armour reworked gives you another 4 slots for armour pieces, you can choose to have them visible or not. (with the mermod mod, i prefer to have the pants and shoes not visible because the armour can be seen with the tail.) 

biomes o plenty includes close to 100 biomes some with different types of woods, grass, leaves and more.
