Emendatus Enigmatica fixes lots of ore gen but unfortunately it does mean you need to have a new world gen to see the changes. (Meaning if you already have a world that gened you will not see the new ores until you generate new chunks or create a new world)

If you make a Digital Miner from Mekanism **DO NOT** Time in a Bottle it. Digital Miner actually mines blocks in your world which do spawn Lycanites mobs. You'll have nasty FPS loss, TPS loss or even crashes if you do this. 8 Speed and Energy Upgrades with an anchor upgrade are completely fine. (I learned the hard way) Setting the miner to Silk Touch actually might help this. Also not near your base is a good rule of thumb.

You may not suffocate Wither bosses unless you don't want any stars. Player kills or Crusher are the only things that work for stars from Wither bosses.
