Currently the plan is for this modpack to be a mix of horror, fantasy, and RPG elements. Much of this is currently achieved through mods such as Mine and Slash, CreRaces, Cave Dweller, etc.
The largest features that you can expect to impact every playthrough are things such as a class system that allows multiclassing, a fully fledged talent tree, skill customization from your class, innate skills from your race (along with passives), increasingly difficult mobs, and a whole host of bosses to fight through in various dimensions. Many of these bosses have in depth mechanics to be played around, resulting in a vastly different experience and difficulty for each race and class combination to go up against them. As a result, the order you fight them is up to you!
Some of the more minor features that you may notice are things such as the fully fledged weather system that brings tornados, sandstorms, blizzards, and more. The Cave Dweller lurks at any depth, so long as there is a roof over his head and a naturally occurring block under its feet. However: This Cave Dweller has been extensively changed, and as a result you cannot expect his arrival on any set timer. Instead, he's always there, it's just a matter of noticing him before he decides to make himself noticed.
For the proper experience, I highly suggest running /racegui on launch, as this will clean up your GUI for a more immersive experience, similarly, by default the minimap is disabled with only a compass and a full screen map instead for the sake of immersion. If you really do wish though, you can enable the minimap through the mod options in Xaero's Minimap.
