Dad Craft

A modpack designed for Dads (and Mums!) to play with their kids. It's built heavily around enhancing the Vanilla experience - keeping things simple for the kids while adding additional layers of interest for parents who want a more complex Minecraft experience.

The mods included serve two main functions:

1. Exploration

The exploration mods include an interactive map - JourneyMap - and a bunch of mods that add structures and buildings using Vanilla blocks. It also includes Waystones for making long journeys easier for kids (and much less frustrating for parents) as well as sleeping bags to make night times a bit less of a problem! And Mob Heads, cos what 8 year old doesn't want a wall covered in the heads of the mobs he's killed?

2. QoL

Common QoL features are included, to make the dads' jobs a bit easier when it comes to organising the Minecraft lives of their kids. Expect to find tweaks to UI, mouse interactions, inventory, storage, and villagers, as well as a couple new tools (hammer-time!).
