MODPACK CONCEPT
There are two major paths:
โ๏ธ TECHNOLOGY
๐ช MAGIC
The goal is not simply to have a large number of mods installed, but to create a world where each player has their own identity, with different ways of progressing, fighting, exploring, and developing their character.
You can become an engineer, a user of alien technology, a mage, a sorcerer, a divine warrior, or any other available specialization.
The main idea is:
Each player chooses a path, develops their character, and masters their own form of power.
1. CHOOSING A SPECIALIZATION
Each player must choose ONE primary specialization.
This choice represents the character's main source of power throughout their journey.
For example:
Develop strategies;
Help each other;
Participate in wars together;
Explore the world together;
Share knowledge about their mods.
However, each player remains responsible for their own character.
Being part of a duo does not mean that both players have to play in exactly the same way.
One player may specialize in offense while the other focuses on defense, exploration, support, or another role within the same specialization.
2. SPECIALIZATION SELECTION
Each player must choose ONE primary specialization.
This choice represents the character's main source of power throughout their journey.
A specialization is not simply a collection of mods. It represents the character's identity and primary progression.
Examples:
๐ฝ Player A → Alien
โ๏ธ Player B → Mechanical Engineering
๐ง Player C → Mage
โก Player D → Gods
๐ค Player E → Enhanced Technology
๐งโ๏ธ Player F → Sorcerer
Each specialization has its own set of mods. Players should primarily develop their characters using resources belonging to their chosen specialization.
3. MAXIMUM OF 2 PLAYERS PER SPECIALIZATION
Each specialization has a maximum limit of 2 players.
Only two people can choose a given specialization.
Once two players have chosen a specialization, it will be considered:
๐ SPECIALIZATION FULL
Any additional players must choose another available specialization.
4. SPECIALIZATION DUO
The two players who choose the same specialization may form a duo.
They may:
Play together;
Share resources;
Exchange materials;
Build together;
Develop strategies;
Help each other;
Participate in wars together;
Explore the world together;
Share knowledge about their mods.
However, each player remains responsible for their own character.
Being part of a duo does not mean that both players must play in exactly the same way.
One player may specialize in offense while the other focuses on defense, exploration, support, or another role within the same specialization.

๐ 7. GENERAL PROGRESSION SYSTEMS
Some mods in the modpack function as general support and progression systems and therefore do not belong exclusively to a specialization.
The main example is Passive Skill Trees, which provides customizable skill trees. It should not be treated as a separate specialization.
This means:
Players may use the general systems allowed by the modpack;
A skill tree does not automatically grant access to the main powers of another specialization;
Progression systems cannot be used to bypass the specialization rules;
Library mods, APIs, animation mods, performance mods, interface mods, and dependencies do not constitute specializations.
๐ซ 8. YOU MAY NOT HAVE ALL SPECIALIZATIONS
The main rule of the system is:
Choose one specialization and develop your character within it.
You may not choose a specialization simply to obtain a specific ability and then freely use the main powers of several other specializations.
โ Forbidden Example
Alien Evolution + Mahou Tsukai + Ars Nouveau + Powerborne Heroes + Iron's Spells
This turns the character into a combination of multiple specializations.
โ
Allowed Example
Alien Evolution + Clanging Howl + Alien Evolution addons
All resources belong to the same specialization.
โ
Another Example
Mahou Tsukai + Summoner Scrolls
Both belong to the Sorcerer specialization.
๐ 9. ITEMS FOUND IN THE WORLD
Finding an item from another specialization does not automatically mean that you are allowed to use it.
If an item, weapon, piece of equipment, or power is clearly associated with a specific specialization, it should be treated as belonging to that specialization.
The item should be:
Stored;
Traded;
Exchanged;
Given to a player belonging to the corresponding specialization.
Items considered generic, vanilla, or not directly associated with a specialization may be used normally by everyone.
In case of doubt, the decision should be discussed among the participants.
๐ค 10. TRADE AND COOPERATION
Players may freely trade and cooperate with one another.
Allowed activities include:
Trading resources;
Selling materials;
Buying equipment;
Trading services;
Building bases together;
Creating alliances;
Sharing resources;
Working on collective projects;
Helping players from other specializations.
However:
Having access to an item through another player does not mean that you possess that specialization.
An engineer can build a machine for a mage. That does not turn the mage into an engineer.
Likewise, a hero can cooperate with a Malum user, but that does not mean they have gained the Spiritual Magic specialization.
โ๏ธ 11. WARS AND CONFLICTS
The specializations exist to create diversity among players.
During wars or conflicts, players should primarily use resources from their own specialization.
The goal is not to make everyone have the same level of equipment or the same abilities.
Each specialization should have:
Strengths;
Weaknesses;
Different strategies;
Different equipment;
Different combat styles;
Different progression systems.
Players may not choose a specialization simply to obtain a specific ability and then use powers from multiple other categories.
๐ 12. CHANGING SPECIALIZATIONS
Choosing a specialization represents the character's primary path. Therefore, it should not be changed constantly.
If a player wants to change specialization, they must:
Discuss it with the other participants;
Check whether there is an available slot in the new specialization;
Abandon the primary progression of the previous specialization;
Not simultaneously use the main powers of both paths.
A specialization that already has two players cannot accept a third player.
๐ 13. FULL SPECIALIZATION
When two people choose the same specialization:
๐ THE SPECIALIZATION IS FULL.
No third player may join it.
The next player must choose another available specialization.
๐ 14. PURPOSE OF THE SYSTEM
The goal is not simply to prevent players from using mods.
The goal is to make every choice meaningful.
We want to create a world where different forms of power exist:
๐ฝ Aliens
โ๏ธ Engineers
๐ซ Sci-Fi Warriors
๐ค Power Armor Users
๐ Cosmic Energy Users
๐ง Mages
๐งโ๏ธ Warlocks
๐ฎ Sorcerers
โจ Arcanists
โก Gods
Each player will have their own identity.
No path needs to be the same as another.
๐ 15. THE ULTIMATE GOAL
The goal of the modpack is to create an RPG experience focused on progression, exploration, and warfare between different power systems.
There is not just one way to become powerful.
Evolve;
Explore;
Build;
Fight;
Form alliances;
Trade;
Go to war;
Defend your territory;
Develop your specialization;
Create your own story.
What matters is that every player has an identity.
๐ 16. GOLDEN RULE
CHOOSE ONE SPECIALIZATION.
FIND YOUR PARTNER.
MASTER YOUR PATH.
DEVELOP YOUR CHARACTER.
DO NOT TRY TO POSSESS EVERY FORM OF POWER.
Each specialization has room for only 2 players.
Once both slots are filled, you must find another path.
The world offers different ways to reach the top.
โ๏ธ The question is not:
"Which mod is the strongest?"
The question is:
"What will my path be?"
Your power defines your path.
Your path defines your story.
