modpack is still under construction. However this is being built to test how the mods run and how the gameplay of the modpack goes.
This modpack aims to make playing on a survival mode a bit immersive but at the same time retaining the vanilla aspect of Minecraft. This does not aim for doing speedruns and such but is more on building up civilizations or anything related to that.
The base mods are Create, GravityWorld, KemonoCraft and Valkyrien Skies(not included at the moment). Create mod offers a wide range of tech and automation in the game and you can build up factories in the world. GravityWorld adds gravity physics on most of the blocks in the game, in order for you to construct your buildings a bit more logically(do note this mod is CPU heavy, you might have to tweak the config, best choice is to change gravityresistance value in the range of 7.8 to 9). Kemonocraft is added here because , as far as what I've experienced in my 1.12 server, kinda makes you a bit responsible on NPCs that you tame. It's a mod that is inspired by Kemono Friends where you can tame "friends"(the characters in that series) that can also help you in your playthrough, they can fight, they can use equipments, they can level up, carry and pick up items, mine, farm, etc. However they need to be fed in a daily basis or else they will become "untamed" and will not respond to you unless you tame them again. Friends can be only tamed with Japari Buns, which is made by wheat dough(2 wheat) and some various ingredients (check JEI). KemonoCraft also adds some biomes, enemy mobs(celliens), trees, crops, resources and functional blocks(so far there's the grinder, tungsten furnace and bread basket).
Valkyrien Skies is not available for 1.16 yet, but it is a mod where you can make airships that are solid, tile entities like chests, furnaces, etc. are interactable and redstone works on it despite it being moving. Valkyrien Skies is NOT AVAILABLE at the moment.
Tetra is also included in this pack so that you can have customability on your tools without it being too game breaking.
The terrain generation used in this pack is terraforged and Unearthed, both are optional if you want to play this modpack on singleplayer, but on the planned server, I'll be using both. Terraforged provides some realistic looking terrains without disrupting biomes and such(still questionable tho, can't say if it accepts KemonoCraft's custom biomes). Unearthed adds various stone blocks and is generated similar patterns to that of IRL geomorphology(however it replaces a bit of stuff that it kinda interferes on maintaining stone tools for Tetra).
Feel free to try out this pack and you can inform me in the comments about some issues and stuff on your playthrough. At the moment I'm still working on making the pack stable since it contains Gravity physics (I am aware it's heavy but it's one of the base mods I am aiming for in this pack). Do note also some of the mods are still on alpha so there might be some unstability.
Owner's observations so far:
-Unearthed mod mostly replaced the stone block, so it's going to be hard to start out with stone based tools, so be sure to grab yourself iron ores as fast as possible.
-Unearthed mod seems to also add ore variants of the modded blocks they add, iron ore on siltstone is hard to notice due to similarity of color.
-Kemonocrafts Celliens spawn 24/7 and uses different AI, they WILL pursue you and will not leave you alone. (they can't swim btw)
-Set the gravity configuration as less performance heavy as much as possible. Due to that, expect some floating blocks but DO NOT stand over them (for safety reasons)[in my test server, that is.]
-There was some bee spawn issue during my first test, but I think it's caused by one mod that I already removed on the recent pack. However please do report if you happen to find an abnormal amount of bees again.
