FAQ:
-
What version of Minecraft is this modpack compatible with?
- The modpack is compatible with 1.20.1, as of now.
-
How much RAM do I need to allocate to run this modpack smoothly?
- For a modpack with 107 mods, I recommend allocating at least 6–8 GB of RAM, depending on your system specifications.
-
Does the modpack support multiplayer servers?
- Yes, the modpack is multiplayer-friendly. However, ensure your server has enough RAM and CPU resources to handle the number of players and mods. And I'd like to point out that the modpack includes Essential, which allows for multiplayer without the use of servers.
-
Are there any custom configurations or tweaks made to the included mods?
- There are not, that I myself am aware of. The modpack does include "Alex's Mobs Interaction," which, as you might have guessed, adds more interactions between the mobs.
-
Does this modpack have a specific theme or goal, such as adventure, building, or survival?
- As I have already stated, I originally designed this modpack to improve your modded minecraft survival experience, while using From the Fog to keep players on their toes. Personally, I don't find Herobrine all that scary, and I see him as a simple guy who hangs around my world... and stares at me a lot.
-
Can I add or remove mods without breaking the modpack?
- Minor additions, like performance mods (e.g., Sodium or Optifine), are usually fine. However, removing core mods like JEI or Xaero's Minimap might cause crashes or instability.
-
What performance optimizations are included to handle the large number of mods?
- Mods like FastWorkbench and FastFurnace help improve crafting performance. Those two specifically can be added by you, and I don't plan on including them in the base modpack.
-
Are there quests or a progression system to guide players through the modpack?
- Currently, there’s no dedicated quest system, but the modpack encourages exploration and discovery through its diverse mod selection, like Timeless and Classics: Zero and Immersive Aircraft.
-
Does the modpack include any custom crafting recipes or unique gameplay mechanics?
- Aside from custom crafting recipes added by mods like Farmer's Delight, so far I've added a simple mod that simplifies the crafting of firework rockets using red, white, and black dye.
