As described in the summary, this pack maintains a constant reaction of chaos with its staggering 300+ mods!
The Vision
When I described the immense project I was beginning to my friend, I said it included every powerful and game-changing mod that Curse had available to 1.12.2. This claim is not 100% true, but through much debugging and compatibility changes, Critical Mass promises to only sometimes cause a catastrophic detonation. Our goal is to keep the pack's unsustainability and playability neck and neck, to remain just at Critical Mass.
Our goal is to provide an experience where you start from scratch, punching trees and grinding flour with a windmill, all the way up to flying to your space station while wearing a power suit and a Barett .50 on your back.
The Juicy Details, and The Future
We absolutely want this pack to thrive. If we can get the ball rolling, I see a Sub-Critical Mass, Super-Critical, and even 1.15 versions of all three. Help me melt your computers, friends!
Enough about the future. Now the details.
Critical Mass aims to not only be a mod pack where you can use one of the blistering 400 mods present and functioning but have a sense of purpose.
Critical Mass is and always will be a mostly Kitchen-Sink pack, but we want to take some inspiration from our friends over at SevTech and expand upon its ideals massively.
When you get into a new era, it will not be about what you can craft next, it'll be about what you want.
The only limitation will be what it takes to progress an era, and we have much planned for this system.
In the future, we also wish to make an EASY way to disable the quests altogether, allowing for true Kitchen-Sink.
We want this to be a pack you never have to worry about falling behind, as long as the mods keep pace!
