Hello! Welcome to Crisplads Custom, a pack I created as an entry point for friends to modded Minecraft in the 1.16 environment.
currently the pack offers a mix of technology and magic mods with a hint of exploration for builders to make use of (pocket dimensions, void worlds, etc.) The focus of the pack is to give the player plenty of options for building beautiful structures and populating them with machines, mob grinders, items transport systems, trains, and hopefully what else your imagination can dream up.
Featuring: Cave systems more suited to spelunking than vanilla with Yungs Better Caves, Mineshafts, Strongholds, and Extras, goodies from Apotheosis and Quark. Still with plenty of opportunity for the branch mine of your dreams.
A fully configured Ore generation! No duplicate ores in the ground from mods that add the same Ores! Not to point any fingers at more well known packs but come on!
As many texture and block mods as I can find while staying inside the recipe limit for multiplayer servers, including Chiseled, Chisels and Bits, Ceramics, Chipped, Fairy Lights, Framed Blocks, Glassential, Inspirations, Masonry, Quark, Supplementaries, And plenty more Exciting building blocks from your run of the mill Tech and magic mods
Everything plus the kitchen sink for your farm with Pam's Harvestcraft foods, plants, and trees, and Cooking for Blockheads for easy crafting of new and interesting meals.
OPTIONAL engagement with Spice of Life Carrot and Potato Mode mods, eat new foods to gain more hearts on your lifebar and eat a varied diet for lasting buffs like strength and speed. Don't feel like it? No drawbacks for only eating bread your whole life if that's your jam :/.
All of my personal favorite Tech and Magic mods and even some I don't really care for just for the sake of variety, as well as all the infrastructure to back them up, like Iron Chests, Pretty Pipes, and others.
Other esoteric design choices I may make and also may unmake, who knows?
What ya see is what ya get, support for this pack is limited as long as it works for my girlfriend and myself so hope your hardware is pretty similar. That said I'm open to adding mods or changing configs if it fits the pack, if you happened to be one of the few downloaders and like the pack but feel it's missing that one special obscure thing drop a comment! You never know. Or add it yourself and upload your new pack, I don't care what you do with these files :)
