Description

CREATE to SURVIVE

 

is a moderately modded modpack created(no pun intended) based  on my personal preferences,basically an attempt to make a modpack with mechanics and features that wouldn't undermine the vanilla mechanics and that would feel organic with one another (no dragons with computers and wizards with nuclear reactors), and a product of a few months of work(mostly trying to figure out how? and what?).

 

!! My new modpack: CREATE SURVIVE ADVANCE [FORGE] !!

Heavily inspired by amazing modpacks such as : Valhelsia: Enhanced Vanilla,Create:Above and Beyond and DayOfMind.

 

The modpack consists of a moderate amount of large and small mods,that together with custom changes provides a vanilla-like experience,with better performance,balance and most importantly a longer and more indepth PROGRESSION.

 

EXPLORE:

-An improved yet vanilla like world,with longer days and nights,new biome specific mob spawning ,divided into many continents,and full of new biomes and structures,revamped old biomes and structures and even some ,,features from the future"  

(Traverse mod), (The Wild backport mod), (Biome makeover mod), (Young's mods), (Moog's Voyager Structures), (Time and wind mod), (Continents mod).

SURVIVE and PROGRESS:

-A harsher world. Manage your thirst by drinking water,but not any water source is healthy to drink,and as such,you'll have to find a cleaner body of water, or boil it before drinking,in the new copper cauldron,or filter the water with some charcoal.Notice the "non-punchable trees"  => collect some flint,make a knife,collect some fiber and make a hatchet.

1)remember in this modpack the player is unable to mine ANY block without the appropriate tool.

2)shift when cutting the tree to break the whole thing at once

3)DON'T forget to collect the loose rocks covering the ground and to get leather,you'll need a LOT of leather.

and with all that,you can at last enter the STONE ERA

 

CREATE and THRIVE:

-Go and mine some copper and iron ore,or just find it in structures,but after this,the classical step of smelting the raw ore into ingots is no longer there,now from smelting it the player will geat measly nuggets,but you'll have to bear with this for a bit,since the raw ore needs to be crushed in order to get the appropriate ingots,and that requires you to delve into the CREATE MOD.

With basic machinery and contraptions,get the crushed iron,the ingots,and then wires and rods,because now it is time to go even further.

-Explore and mine,acquire top tier gear,slay the vanilla bosses (and a modded one),conquer the nether and the end with their new biomes and content (Cinderscapes and Enderscape mods),and then, go WILD,shape the world to your will,build entire factories and cities ,automate EVERYTHING,build and create,you've overcome the natural obstacles and trials of the world,so now the only limit is your imagination...and time :) 

 

Some of the other present features:

-Elytra can no longer be boosted with fireworks,instead the player will have to use campfires and new enchantments (Aileron mod)

-Minecarts are now more usefull,being overall 25% faster,while the furnace minecart is four times faster and will load the chunks it is present in ,the minecarts also can be linked together with chains and will deal damage when ramming into an entity (there are more tweaks to minecarts than that so check out the ''Cammie's Minecart Tweaks,, mod page)

-For those who would like to play with this modpack on a server or with friends there is the ability to pre-generate chunks (Chunky mod)

-Improved third person view (Better Third Person)

-The player can easily transport chests, entities and spawners but will get slowness and increased hunger,when shift right-clicking with the carrier glove on what you want to move(Carrier mod)

-Improved pet behaviour (Companion mod)

-Better player related animations (Eating animation and Not enough animations mods)

-Emotes! (Emotecraft mod)

-A lot of changes to villager,including custom trades,improved AI, improved wandering traders and much more ( Liberty's Villagers,Villager config,Guard villagers,Villager Names,Truly treasures mods)

-Easier to use enchanting table (Easy magic [outdated])

-Easier to use and selectable paintings (Paintings ++)

-There are a lot of smaller features added  by a variety of mods,and one of the mods that adds the most small features and tweaks is Fabrication mod,and as such i advice to check its mod-page to find out about them.

 

Things to note!:

*If you find any bugs write about them in the comments :)

*I don't recommend playing with large biomes setting,it messes up biome and structure placement; 

*There is no (and will never be) seasons and temperature in this modpack,since it is created after my own preferences ,and i personally dislike how seasons look and affect the game and how temperature limits the player in a very unnatural(for minecraft) way, to an annoying degree;

*The modpack is going to be updated as new bugs will be found,new neat mods will be added,and the already present mods are updated;

*Not every feature and mechanic is shown in the description,so i encourage exploration and experimentation :)
