Create: Skyward Odyssey

This is my first ever modpack, so if I’ve missed something or if you find any bugs, feedback is always appreciated! The main inspiration for the exploration and dungeon-crawling aspect of this pack is the Integrated MC series.

Skyward Odyssey is a progression-focused modpack centered on exploration, engineering, and challenging combat. You start stranded on land, limited by the dangers of the terrain. To explore further, you must scavenge dungeons for resources, defeat powerful bosses to unlock technology, and eventually build your own fleet of custom aircraft.

⚙️ Engineering & Aeronautics

Build functional ships and vehicles with Create Aeronautics. These aren't just static bases; they feature real physics and require smart design to fly. Use Steam 'n' Rails for ground logistics and Track tank treads for heavy-duty land vehicles.

🔥 Industrial Power & Propulsion

Forget simple coal. Use The factory must grow to refine oil. Manage your fuel types to power high-torque combustion engines. For personal mobility, utilize Stuff & Additions jetpacks and exo-suits to navigate treacherous terrain.

⚔️ Combat & RPG Progression

Experience an enhanced combat system with Better Combat, Simply Swords and Shield Expansion. Your survival against tough bosses depends on Apotheosis, which adds loot rarities, gems, and powerful affixes to your gear, and even a new enchanting mechanic.

🔮 Arcane Mastery

Complete your arsenal with Iron's Spells 'n Spellbooks. Cast powerful spells to defend your airships or siege enemy fortresses. Find legendary Artifacts and Relics hidden in world structures to gain passive abilities that define your build.

🏰 Exploration & Bosses

The world is a gauntlet of structures from When Dungeons Arise, YUNG’s, and Integrated Structures where you will find loot that will allow you to tackle even harder challenges. To unlock the best materials and complete the journey, you must hunt down the bosses from Cataclysm, Mowzie’s Mobs, and Ice and Fire.

Industry meets agriculture. Use Create Slice & Dice, Central Kitchen, and Integrated Farming to fully automate Farmer’s Delight recipes in order to be well-fed for the challenges that await you. Manage your massive inventory with Sophisticated Backpacks, Storage Drawers, and Tom’s Simple Storage.

🗺️ A World Without Borders

Powered by Distant Horizons and Tectonic, the world features massive mountain ranges and deep oceans visible from kilometers away. Use Map Atlases and Nature's Compass to navigate this vertical landscape.

⛓️ Custom recipes and integration

Experience a unified world where every mod serves a purpose. Custom recipes and rebalanced progression paths ensure that industry, exploration, and magic are seamlessly integrated.

⚠️ Disclaimers

Performance: The pack is playable at 8Gb of ram but yyou will experience stutters. If you want to play it comfortably use 10-12Gb instead.
DH performance: If you experience performance issues with DH it might be bacause of your Java Gargage collector (the mod itself should warn you about it anyway). To solve it, simply add the following additional java arguments: -XX:+UseZGC -XX:+ZGenerational -XX:+AlwaysPreTouch
Unstable: In its current state, crashes and bugs that will break your save will happen. If this happens, please create an issue with the crashlogs, what caused it and how to replicate it. This way it can be avoided in the future (hopefully)
