A massive reactor detonation released a wave of radiation that slowly consumed the planet — corrupting life, decaying structures, and collapsing every advanced system humanity had built. Civilization fell. The surface became hostile. In many places, uninhabitable.

Radiation rewrote the rules of existence:

• Strange fungal growth spreading across the landscape
• New viruses emerging — others mutating beyond recognition
• Structures deteriorating over time, machines going dark

A small group endured. They sealed themselves inside a secure bunker — the last refuge against spreading contamination — and from within began studying the radiation, experimenting with new lifeforms, and searching for any path forward. Time was not on their side.
