Create MEGA: Aeronautics Edition

A kitchen-sink Minecraft 1.21.1 modpack built around Create 6.0.10 and Create Aeronautics 1.3.0, wrapped in roughly 90 Create-ecosystem addons plus a curated performance and visuals stack. Trains, airships, factories, cannons, and an entire in-game economy — all running on NeoForge with Sodium and Iris out of the box.

This is a fan-made compilation of existing mods, not an official Create or Create Aeronautics release.

What's inside

Create 6 — the full base experience: kinetic contraptions, mechanical crafting, Create's signature train system, and everything the core mod is known for.

Create Aeronautics + its addon family — airships, thrusters, gyroscope stabilizers, kinetic grips, throwable rope connectors, portable liquid-fuel engines, and Curios integration. Roughly 16 mods build directly on top of Create Aeronautics to flesh out flight, rigging, and aerial logistics.

Trains & Steam 'n' Rails — a dedicated railway layer on top of Create: new track types, bogies, train parts, a railway navigator, radar tracking, and steam-whistle soundscapes.

Cannons — Create Big Cannons and its Advanced Technologies expansion bring artillery, warships, and explosive set-pieces into Create's kinetic systems.

Economy & Numismatics — a full player-driven currency system (Numismatics + Numismatics Utils), a trading floor, and vault mods to store your earnings.

Energy & industry — around 25 addons deepen Create's production chains: The Factory Must Grow, Create Nuclear, diesel generators, a power grid layer, ore processing, rubber and petroleum refining (Petrol's Parts), and an Applied Energistics 2 bridge via Create: Applied Kinetics.

Decoration — close to 20 addons for building: Create Deco, Design n' Decor, Framed, Copycats+, Interiors, Dreams n' Desires, and more, so factories don't have to look like factories.

Cooking & agriculture — Create Confectionery, Central Kitchen, Create Food, Garnished Reworked, Integrated Farming, Mechanical Botany, Winery, plus Farmer's Delight as the food-mod backbone.

Storage, logistics & quality of life — Sophisticated Storage/Backpacks with Create integration, Tom's Simple Storage, package couriers, hypertubes, filters, JEI, Jade, JourneyMap, and Waystones tie the whole base together.

Performance & visuals

• Sodium + Iris are bundled and pre-configured — no OptiFine needed, and nothing conflicts with it.
• Fresh Animations (resource pack) plus Entity Model/Texture Features give mobs richer, layered, animated models.
• A full optimization stack keeps ~180 mods running smoothly: Lithium, FerriteCore, ModernFix, ImmediatelyFast, Entity Culling, Clumps, Dynamic FPS, Ksyxis, and Create Better FPS.
• Distant Horizons adds optional long-range terrain LOD — disable it first if you need to claw back FPS.
• AmbientSounds 6, Ambient Environment, Sound Physics Remastered, and Create: Sound of Steam round out the audio side.

Recommended settings

• RAM: allocate 4GB minimum, 8/10GB recommended if you plan to run a shaderpack for long sessions.

• Java: Java 21 (required by NeoForge 21.1.x on Minecraft 1.21.1).

• Do not install OptiFine — Sodium/Iris already cover shader support and optimization.

• This pack is built and intended for singleplayer and LAN worlds. Dedicated-server compatibility has not been verified for this list — test thoroughly yourself before committing a server world to it.

FPS RANGE

Performance expectations

Minecraft with ~180 mods is CPU-bound: single-thread speed and cache matter far more than your GPU, until you turn shaders on. These are estimates, not lab benchmarks — a large Create contraption on screen will cost you frames on any hardware.

Tested on an i5-9600K + RX 5700 XT: ~90-100 fps at RD 8 without shaders with distant horizons, ~50-70 fps at RD 12 with Complementary Reimagined and Horizons. Everything else is extrapolated using benchmarks and tests (with the 9600k and 5700xt)

Note: Sustained 240+ fps with Distant Horizons enabled and shaders (at medium/high) is not realistic (You'd need an Nvidia 4080/5080 card, minimum); turn it off for higher fps.

If you have a semi-potato PC, for the first 1/2 minutes it's going to be laggy. (Please don't blow up your celeron powered laptop trying to launch this modpack ^^)
