Create: Echoes of the Great Derailment is a steampunk progression modpack built around Create, quests, mentors, bosses, settlements and a long mechanical journey from survival to industry.

The Story

The Machine Age did not end in silence.

After the Great Derailment, the old factories collapsed, the railways broke apart, and the knowledge that once powered the world was scattered into dust. Machines fell still. Workshops became ruins. Settlements struggled to survive among the remains of a forgotten industrial era.

But the spark of invention never truly died.

In **Create: Echoes of the Great Derailment**, you begin in a world that has lost its mechanical glory. Step by step, you will rediscover lost techniques, rebuild infrastructure, restore production chains, and bring motion back to a broken age of gears, steam and steel.

Guided by mentors, challenged by dangerous foes, and pushed forward by quests, your journey is not only about building machines.

It is about rebuilding civilization.

Meet the Mentors

You are not alone in the ruins of the Machine Age.

Throughout your journey, 17 unique characters will guide, challenge and accompany you as you rebuild a broken world. Each one has a role in the progression: some teach you how to survive, some introduce new technologies, some prepare you for combat, while others help you understand settlements, exploration, resources, magic or advanced industry.

These characters are not just decoration.

They are part of the quest experience.  
They explain new mechanics, give context to your objectives, warn you before dangerous steps, and make each stage of the modpack feel more alive.

From your first primitive tools to massive factories, powerful equipment and forgotten technologies, the mentors help turn the quest book into a real journey through the Echoes of the Great Derailment.

**Performance Note:**
This is a large progression-focused modpack with many content, quest, worldgen and automation mods. A good CPU, enough allocated RAM and an SSD are strongly recommended.

**World Warning:**
Because the modpack is still evolving, major updates may require a new world. Always make a backup before updating.

Items, recipes and mechanics are intentionally locked behind quests and stages. If something appears unavailable, check the quest book first.
