A pack put together with the intention of being played with others and mostly focused around create.
Currently most notable mods are Create, with a few of it's addons. Ars Nouveau and Botania for that magic side, and some food related ones like Cooking for Blockheads.
There are also a number of mods to change what one might run into when out exploring the world, such as structures or even creatures to look out for.
FTB Chunks and Teams are also present for multiplayer playing. (That makes sense right? lol)
