Disclaimer, i made none of these mods, i am just someone who wants to share my personal configuration of some mechanical modpacks. Creators of those mods should get all the credit. I also did not make the video linked on the gallery.
For my fiend, Tartareo.
Some mode included are create aeronautics, Solas shaders, Distant horizons, Create, Create: new age, Create: crafts and additions and many more.
These mods allow for mechanical contraptions to be built, vehicles and accurate physics. Power can be generated with deisel engines, electronic generators, steam, water or even wind. Energy is transmitted into stress-units to allow for rotation and power to be transmitted.
The only limit is your own imagination.
Play with friends with easy to setup proximity voice chat or even enable shaders for pretty landscapes. Increase render distance with distant horizons.(requires a decently beefy comuter to run distant horizons at medium to high settings).
I personally, with no shaders/distant horizons get 60+ frames on my 9 year old intergrated graphics laptop with the help of performence enhancing mods such as sodium, lithium and iris.
