It is highly recommended to change settings and use the given resource packs in the modpack, although more resource packs can be added.
There is already a few optimisation mods, and "Iris", therefore allowing shaders to work
( 1200+ allocated memory recommended )

There's currently a lot of mods based on visuals, a few happen to be based on audial improvements such as the "sounds" Mod
PvP mechanics have been changed, although they can easily be returned by turning the mod off, it's advised to keep the mod on in singleplayer.
Additionally, there is now new structures in the game and prior structures have been revamped ( only applies to a few. )
