Recommended RAM Allocation:
- SinglePlayer: 7GB ~ 8GB

- Server: 8GB ~ 14GB
Please use the latest version to ensure the best experience as it has bug fixes.
Embiddium is already in the modpack, do not use Optifine as it has a lot of problems. The Hysteria shader is HIGHLY recommended for a better experience if you have the hardware for it.
