Changelog 1.18
I reminded myself of the purpose of this pack: exciting exploration and an engaging quest experience through the end game. After watching countless hours of gameplay after initial release, I realized that players were more focused on Reinforced Stone, than enjoying the quests, lore, and custom aspects I worked hard to build into the pack. While this was a refreshing challenge for some of the more hardcore players, it simply wasn’t the pack I set out to make 8 months ago. For that reason, some of these changes may disappoint those who got a rush out of the hectic fear-for-your-life style, but I feel the pack will now be more in line with what Craft Of The Titans was supposed to represent from day one.
- -Archer mobs Shooting Distance reduced from 48 to 36 blocks… hopefully reducing the relentless wall pinging of arrows from halfway acrossed the map.
- -Dungeon Mob Spawner frequency has been reduced slightly, and chest loot quantities increased slightly, to encourage earlier exploration of dungeon structures.
- -Mobs no longer pillar up. Though this seemed like a cool feature, it hardly ever actually resulted in a mob breeching a base from underneath. Instead it created half-pillars of glitchy invisible blocks and unsightly cobblestone for no real actual threat to base safety.
- -Skeletons have been added to the “able to dig” category to make up for mobs no longer able to pillar to bases.
- -Mob Awareness radius has been reduced by 25% for all but a handful of melee mobs.
- -Archer mobs chance to miss slightly increased.
- -Rat mobs have been removed, as losing something as important as a full spellbook to a rodent just isn’t fun and fair.
- -Fire Elementals have been removed from the overworld (except dungeons), since they adamantly refused to stop spawning in restricted light conditions.
- -Pirahnas will once again see Creeper fish as enemies, keeping the see creature population under control.
- -The Revolver ranged weapon has received massive buffs and a new quest chain has been added to introduce you to your new personal boom cannon called “Justice”.
- -Quest pathing issues fixed.
- -Recipes for Nether Aluminum and Bauxite fixed.
- -Added Quest for Forge Lexicon to enable Uranium and Yellorium ingot swapping.
- -PacMan pet was disappearing and bugged out. Replaced with Baconator mod. Sorry, no more OP PacMan buff. Try the revolver!
- -Flux Networks added to pack to aid in high energy transfer.
- -Kitchen Sink Lapis Pickaxe made slightly more expensive to craft.
- -Lowered the Rune cost of the Quantum Quarry to make end game quarry usage come slightly sooner.
- -Many other bug fixes and corrections.
