An attempt at capturing the cornerstone of what makes Minecraft feel like Minecraft, and don't tell anyone but also some mods that I like

   When some people play Minecraft, they want to play Minecraft. When others play Minecraft, they want to play Create, Immersive Engineering, Ars Nouveau, or any number of complex mods.

Both are good. I like both. But I really like my friends, and they seem to be split between these two styles.

The solution: A splash of tech to distract the nerds, and revamped worldgen to freshen it up for the vanilla enjoyers. It probably won't work but if I present it as though it will, it will make me feel better.
