Note: This is the base version of Convergence SMP. The specialized versions are listed down below.

Convergence

Convergence SMP is an RPG Mod Pack that attempts to recreate the feeling of a modded SMP. It takes the concept of the Convergence Series, and uses that as a framing device for the world, combining elements, characters and mechanics from several SMPs into one RPG. Due to the volume of content in this pack, a wiki is available for more detailed information.

The main feature of the modpack is the Convergence Map, with NPCs, bases, quests, and more, all curated into one comprehensive modpack. This is primarily accomplished through dimensions, which breaks the content from different mods up into different zones which can be progressed through.

Custom NPCs and Quests will be recieving continuous updates as the pack progresses.

This Mod Pack contains the Lifesteal Mod.

Every time you die, you loose a heart permanently. The only way to get them back, is by crafting them from rare materials (recipes can be found with JEI). This can be toggled off in the config.

How to regain a heart:

This modpack contains no_moon.jar. The primary map of the Pack is meant to be a "post no_moon" world, where the mod has already been beaten, and the entities won't spawn. This means that if you're playing on the intended map, you won't have to worry about anything outside of the occasional strange noise.

However, if you create a new world using this pack, be warned that no_moon.jar contains several scripted events that will playout during your playthrough. The modpack will prevent any entities from actually spawning, so there will be nothing to actually hunt you, but there are 2 events which always happen when you create a new world.

This modpack uses my Better 1.20.1 as a base, and so has almost all of the backported features of modern minecraft:

Copper Age Backport (link):

Copper Golems (made by placing a pumpkin on a copper block)
- Copper tools, weapons, and armor
- Copper decoration blocks
- Wooden Shelves

Trial Chambers Backport (link):

Trial Chambers spawn underground
- Has full functionality with breezes, wind charges, ominous keys, etc.
- Adds the mace and its associated enchantments

Spears Backport (link):

Adds Spears
- functions like vanilla minecraft spears
- adds associated achievements and enchantments

Potions Backport (link):

adds the new potions with full functionality
- Oozing pots will spawn a slime on death
- Weaving pots will spawn a spider on death
- Infestation pots have a 10% chance to spawn silverfish every instance of damage
- Wind charge potions will cause mobs to explode with a wind charge when killed

Pale Garden Backport (link):

adds all the Pale Oak and Resin related blocks and items
adds The Creaking
adds Eyeblossoms

Happy Ghast Backport (link):

adds a mountable happy ghast
- behaves like vanilla

This Mod Pack is intended to be used with the Convergence SMP Map (included), however, the pack should work completely fine in any world if you'd rather just play survival.

The Convergence SMP map utilizes the Lost Cities mod, as well as several other structure mods and addons to create the feeling of a server, as opposed to vanilla minecraft generation. the Lost Cities mod is not currently in the pack, because the city is only meant to be in the immediate area surrounding spawn.
