"The world of Compass is an endless ocean dotted with islands, villages, ships and more. Explore, build an empire, fight pirates or harness the magic of the natural world.
You arrive in the world on a small life raft with only a few supplies to start. Climb into your boat and begin the search for land.
There are several types of islands which tend to form in chains. Forested islands are ideal for starting out, however any island can be a viable home as there are many ways of acquiring resources. For now, you'll want to find somewhere to build an initial shelter where you can gather food and build some basic gear."
This pack uses a custom ocean world type which overrides the default Overworld. ATG can be used but is not required.
Ore Excavation, Ex Nihilo Omnia and Ex Compressum make it possible to dive in and get started with producing the resources you'll need straight away. This pack is designed with the goal of having fun exploring and building creative things, building up community either with villages, colonies, or fellow Minecrafters. Some configs and recipes have been altered and changes are documented in the in-game guidebook.
