This is a bunch of mods collected to try and make Minecraft as fun as possible while still keeping the vanilla feel.
For example there is the origins mod in which you choose an origin at the start of the game that gives you different abilities to make the survival aspect a bit more challenging.
There's also a lot of new building blocks that keep the vanilla style, a craftable backpack for more storage on the go, easy to use minimap and worldmap mods, new world generation etc.
