Colorful Survival

Colourful Survival is a cosy modded Minecraft experience built around homesteading, exploration, cooking, decoration, practical automation, and the gradual discovery of colour-based magic.

The pack is centred on Pastel, a progression-focused magic mod related to Spectrum. Its discoveries and mysteries provide the main direction of the world, while the rest of the modpack supports a slower, lived-in style of survival.

Build a comfortable home, grow unusual crops, cook a wide variety of meals, fish, explore, collect relics, meet villagers, decorate your surroundings, and develop practical systems that keep the homestead running.

ProjectE, automation, and progression

ProjectE is intended primarily as an alchemical logistics system. It can be used to convert excess resources, maintain reserves of common materials, and support slow passive EMC production rather than immediately bypassing the rest of the pack.

Just Dire Things is included mainly for useful tools and discreet automation, such as equipment maintenance, wireless energy support, and small systems around the base.

Botany pots are useful for crops that are awkward to farm conventionally, specific cooking ingredients, and gradual passive production. They are not meant to replace exploration or traditional farming entirely.
