CollectColonies — Modpack Description

CollectColonies is a lightweight Forge 1.20.1 modpack focused on collecting, exploring, and having fun without causing lag. It is designed to run well on most PCs and is very friendly for servers and family play.

This pack is currently in BETA, so some things may change or be improved over time.

About the Pack

CollectColonies started as an idea that grew into a full project. I learned how to code, make my own mods, troubleshoot bugs, balance gameplay, and much more. It was made for my family and has been played extensively by myself, my son, and his partner. We feel it is ready for public release, but there may still be some balancing or bugs to be worked out.

CollectColonies contains nearly 1000 collectible items, divided into themed sets. FTB Quests automatically tracks every collectible you obtain and rewards each item and every completed set.

Discover the Collectors Cove, where you can trade for more collectibles, try your luck in the Collectors Casino, and even swap that useless cod for salmon to help feed a hungry colony!

The pack does not force you to complete collections or build a colony. You can play it however you like, in singleplayer or multiplayer. Every chest is per player to make server play easier.

As this pack is in BETA, there will be updates, fixes, and balancing changes over time.
Please note that MineColonies has not been edited in any way. For MineColonies-specific issues, please use their official Discord.

Most mods in this pack are created by other mod authors. All credit goes to them for their incredible work. To the best of my knowledge, all included mods are licensed for use in modpacks, and none have been modified directly.
