Minecolonies is an interactive Town building mod that allows you to create your own thriving Town within Minecraft.
In the mod, you are given the task of growing the colony you lead from a small settlement that cannot create its own food
to a bustling town that can fulfill complex requests on your behalf.
As you progress through the mod, you will find more and more of your tasks automated by the citizens of the colony,
to the point that your role becomes exclusively an executive one. If this sounds like some tech mods, then you would be correct:
Minecolonies' main contribution to game progression is its automation. There is a problem with this, however:
the mod's space and material cost to automate any given task tends to be far greater than the alternative,
causing it to clash terribly with many of the popular mods out there.
That is where this modpack comes in.
This project is derived from the MineColonies official modpack.
The game progression is designed entirely around minecolonies,
whereas the other aspects of Minecraft are fleshed out in a way that aligns with vanilla themes.
This creates a cohesive, vanilla plus-like experience despite the modpack being medium-sized.
All mods, resource packs and data packs were created by their respective developers.
I do not claim to have created any mod, datapack or resource pack of this modpack save for
MCU_Datapack, MCU_Resourcepack, and FriendlyFire-Colonists-1.0.0, the latter of which was made from a template.
