In the year 2608 of the Space Core Era, Virus 1539 swept the globe, causing widespread and sustained transmission across the world in just one and a half months. The World Parliament resolved to begin vaccine development at the Raldorf Laboratory. The vaccine was successfully developed and announced to be entering its final human trials. On the night of the press conference, an unsettling blood-red moon eerily appeared in the night sky. The Raldorf Laboratory became the epicenter of this new virus's spread. The academic community unanimously agreed that this virus was a variant of Virus 1539, naming it CNV-08.

This was a disaster even more devastating than Virus 1539; people called it:
