The CntrldFusion Modpack is what I like to call medium modded. This pack was initially created so a group of friends could play modded MC without the need for high end computers. Instead of having a pack with a bunch of mods that no one uses, I built a pack that has just enough tech, just enough magic, and just enough evil mods. I wanted something that was not easy, but not hardcore since thats how our group is.
This pack contains some well known tech mods such as Tinkers, Thermal Expansion, and Actually Additions, plus some helper mods and storage mods. It also has some magic like Botania and Blood Magic, plus I add and remove some magic mods every now and then to change up what we play and try out new ones that rarely get played. It also has mob related mods like Ender Zoo, Infernal Mobs, and Bloodmoon, to make nights more interesting. And there are some dungeon mods added as well for adventuring and treasure hunting.
This pack is created with the non expert or casual mine-crafter in mind. Two other challenges that we have in this modpack is eating and resources. It has purposely been configured so that you have to eat, and you can't eat the same thing more than a few times in a row. For resources there are 3 options, mining, one quarry which uses more RF than normal, and bees.
Please give the pack a try. I hope you like it. I try to ensure that my pack doesn't have a lot of problems but with mods always being updated that is never a 100% certainty. I do not plan on making a server download because there is plenty of info on the main Minecraft wiki and forums on how to take a pack like this and convert it to server use. This pack requires the Twitch/Curse client to install.
