# Clockwork Foundry `beta-1.1` ## Expanded Beta Update This update significantly expands Clockwork Foundry as a progression-focused factory pack. The core path remains centered around **Create -> Mekanism -> AE2 -> Extreme Reactors**, but the pack now includes more structure, more side content, stronger multiplayer quality-of-life, and a much larger quest experience. --- ## Added ### New Mods - `PneumaticCraft: Repressurized` - `Create Crafts & Additions` - `Create: Steam 'n' Rails` - `Lootr` - `Corpse` - `Curios API` - `Xaero's Minimap` - `Xaero's World Map` - `Fast Leaf Decay` - `Sodium / Embeddium Dynamic Lights` ### Resource / Client Improvements - included improved font resource pack - added default resource pack activation for fresh installs - added better multiplayer-friendly utility support --- ## Quest Expansion The questbook has been heavily expanded and restructured. ### Current State - `12 chapters` - `170 quests` ### New / Expanded Areas - deeper `PneumaticCraft` progression - new `Create Additions + Steam 'n' Rails` branch - improved chapter ordering and progression flow - stronger chapter milestone rewards - more choice rewards for specialization - better support for optional side progression ### Reward Pass - reduced bland XP-only progression - added more useful item rewards - improved capstone rewards - removed direct parent-to-child reward redundancy where possible --- ## Progression and Balance ### New Progression Work - integrated `PneumaticCraft` into the pack instead of leaving it isolated - added progression gating for `Create Crafts & Additions` - pushed risky early-game power shortcuts later into progression - removed `Create Additions` bypass for `AE2 charged certus` - improved progression links between mechanical, industrial, network, and power phases ### Create Additions Adjustments The following systems were pushed later or made more intentional: - `alternator` - `electric_motor` - `portable_energy_interface` - `connector` - `large_connector` - `modular_accumulator` ### Railways - `handcar` progression adjusted to fit pack pacing - `Steam 'n' Rails` integrated as meaningful side content instead of random addon clutter --- ## Multiplayer and QoL This update moves the pack further toward a multiplayer-friendly experience. ### Added / Improved - per-player loot containers with `Lootr` - death recovery with `Corpse` - backpack support through `Curios` - minimap and world map support - fast leaf decay after chopping - dynamic lighting support - cleaner client defaults and keybind handling ### Lootr Config - loot containers can no longer be casually broken - loot containers are blast resistant --- ## Cleanup and Integration ### Material / JEI Cleanup - continued cleanup of duplicate or noisy items - hidden redundant clutter from `JEI` - unified `PneumaticCraft` copper nugget usage with existing pack materials - continued cleanup of `Extreme Reactors` yellorium overlap - included font resource pack in the pack structure ### AE2 / JEI - cleaned the client-side `AE2` debug-item JEI spam workaround - preserved hidden state for debug tools without exposing them to normal gameplay --- ## Mekanism Compatibility Fixes A larger compatibility pass was added to stabilize broken `Mekanism` and `Mekanism Generators` recipe tags. ### Fixed / Rebuilt - rotary recipes using broken fluid/gas tags - water-based reaction and washing recipes - water vapor injection recipes - heavy water processing - fusion fuel rotary handling - fungi / diamond infusion edge cases - several machine recipes that previously broke on startup This should eliminate the recurring broken-tag recipe loop for the current mod list. --- ## Technical Pack Work - continued `KubeJS` recipe and progression scripting - expanded compat layer for cross-mod stability - improved questbook organization metadata - updated release-ready pack content for the next beta export --- ## Notes - Clockwork Foundry is still in **beta** - more balancing, more quests, and more side content are still planned - feedback from multiplayer and progression playtesting remains especially valuable --- ## Feedback If you run into: - progression issues - reward pacing problems - recipe oddities - confusing quest flow - multiplayer friction - technical bugs please leave feedback and report it.
