Fell Corruption / Fell Damage

 

Fell Damage is a new corruption-based damage type that adds extra Fell damage on hit based on your total Fell Corruption stat and any Fell damage built into your weapon.

It cannot crit but each successful hit deals additional Fell Damage equal to your current Fell Corruption value. Fell Damage also has a chance to trigger Decay Strike, a powerful effect that deals bonus damage based on the target’s maximum health. As your Fell Corruption increases, Decay Strike becomes both more likely to trigger and more deadly.

 

Decay Strike Scaling:

Less than 50 Fell Corruption: 5% proc chance, deals 6% of target max health,
50+ Fell Corruption: 10% proc chance, deals 7% of target max health,
100+ Fell Corruption: 15% proc chance, deals 8% of target max health,
250+ Fell Corruption: 20% proc chance, deals 9% of target max health,
400+ Fell Corruption: 25% proc chance, deals 10% of target max health,
550+ Fell Corruption: 30% proc chance, deals 11% of target max health,
800+ Fell Corruption: 35% proc chance, deals 12% of target max health,

 

When Decay Strike activates, the target is struck by corrupted fallen energy, accompanied particles and a custom Fell sound effect.

Divinity / Divine Damage

 

Divine Damage is a celestial damage type that grants bonus Divine damage on every successful hit based on your total Divinity stat and any additional Divine damage provided by your weapon.

Every attack deals additional Divine Damage equal to your current Divinity value. Divine Damage can also trigger a powerful Divine Critical Strike, dramatically increasing the damage dealt. As your Divinity grows, both your Divine Critical Strike chance and multiplier become stronger.

When a Divine Critical Strike occurs, the target is struck by heavenly energy, accompanied by particles and a custom Divine sound effect.

Divine Damage is designed as the opposite of Fell Corruption. While Fell focuses on consistent corruption damage and devastating health-based Decay Strikes, Divinity emphasizes explosive critical strikes capable of delivering massive bursts of lethality.

 

+Added Divine Ascension Buff.

This buff is acquired through the regicide advancement (killing the fellking) and represents light based Godhood.

+Gain 40% additional Divinity.,
+Gain bonus Divinity equal to 50% of their Attack Damage.,
+Restore health equal to 1% of Divine Damage dealt.,
-Fell Corruption is reduced by 75%.,
+Unlocks the Ascensio Dei advancement.,


+Added Fallen Ascension Buff.

Fallen ascension is obtained after earning the Ashes of Allegiance advancement (killing descended cisco), as long as the player has not already chosen the Godhood path and represents dark/corrupted based Godhood.

While active, Fallen Ascension empowers Fell Corruption and suppresses Divinity.

 

Fallen Ascension Effects:

+Grants 40% bonus Fell Corruption based on the player’s base Fell Corruption stat.,
+Grants additional Fell Corruption equal to 3% of the player’s maximum health.,
-Reduces Divinity by 75%.,
+Enhances Decay Strike sustain: when Decay Strike activates, the attacker heals for 15% of their maximum health.,
+Unlocks the Ascensio Tenebris advancement.,

 

This makes Fallen Ascension the corrupted counterpart to Godhood. Instead of focusing on Divine critical strikes and celestial burst damage, Fallen Ascension strengthens Fell Corruption, rewards high-health builds, and turns Decay Strike into a powerful sustain mechanic.

 

*Do note that you can only have one of these buffs at a time based on which boss you kill first descended cisco (fallen ascension) , fell king (divine ascension) so choose carefully.
