The idea behind this pack is that it should be a fun, aesthetic pack with a general fall theme that everyone I know can play; regardless of their hardware. In other words, I've tried to make it as performant as possible while also adding loads of mods I liked.
The ones with particular focus placed on them are Icy's Better Horses, Farmer's Delight (with addons), Just Another Witchery Remake, and NeoOrigins. There's also Create, for more tech-inclined players. In terms of travel, beyond the aforementioned horses there is also Immersive Aircraft; and Sons of Sins has been included for some more magic.
There's a handful of recipe changes and other config / datapack tweaks, with a full comprehensive list to be added later. The most important are as follows:
- Zinc is acquired through washing gravel
- Various ore stones (crimsite, asurine, etc) are much rarer, but can be renewably obtained via a stone generator. Check JEI for specifics, but generally it involves having a raw ore block under the generator.
- Witchery seed and drops can ONLY be obtained with an arthana. Seeds are found as follows:
> Belladonna: Breaking grass with an Arthana in a Dark Forest; also sometimes dropped by witches
> Garlic: Breaking grass with an Arthana in a Birch or Old Growth Birch forest
> Mandrake Seeds: Breaking dead bushes with an Arthana
> Snowbell Seeds: Breaking snow layers with an Arthana
> Water Artichoke Seeds: Breaking Kelp with an Arthana
> Wolfsbane Seeds: Breaking grass in any Taiga variant with an Arthana
Several texture packs and (lower-end) shader options have also been included, to pretty up the game while keeping performance in mind.
