Description
Chungus Sussy Gaming focuses on improving upon the vanilla game while maintaining its feel. I believe the most quintessential aspects of Minecraft its simplicity, creativity, exploration, visual appeal, and fear factor. Every mod added seeks to improve one of these or resolve some issues with the base game.
Simplicity:
- JEI: allows for players to very easily view all blocks in the game.
- WTHIT: seeing what entity or block is being looked at is super helpful.
- Easy Magic: keeping lapis in enchanting tables is a lot less annoying.
- Let Sleeping Dogs Lie: it is so cute and satisfying to watch your pets take a relaxing break.
Creativity:
- Oh my Gourd: different forms of pumpkins look super cool!
- Advanced Netherite: choosing whatever armour you feel is right requires tradeoffs and creative choices.
- Kleeslabs: The ability to place different slabs on top of each other is helpful for stylistics.
- Extra TNT: More types of TNT can be used for various purposes, such as traps or mining.
Fear Factor:
- Mimic: the fact that you have to be wary of monsters disguised as traps keep players on edge.
- Sound filters: caves create very creepy noises.
- Enhanced Celestials: not being able to sleep and being swarmed brings back memories of the first night you ever spent in Minecraft.
- Champions: sometimes, players will find themselves facing a more dangerous foe.
Exploration:
- Alex's Mobs: incredibly, each mob feels interesting and compatible with vanilla.
- End Remastered: going to the end is now a fun and novel challenge!
- Guard Villagers: start to feel like a Medieval king and improve upon your village!
- Better Dungeons: these dungeons still feel like vanilla, but just look a little better.
- Dash: fighting new and more dangerous monsters requires a little more fighting spirit.
- Villager Names: each villager feels more unique.
- Tiered: finding the optimal set of gear becomes an interesting quest.
- Beekeper: this villager just looks cool. That's it.
- Traveler's Titles: rewards players for finding new biomes with a cool visual effect.
- School of Magic: magic mod with a vanilla feel and interesting challenges to overcome.
- Customized Dungeon Loot: occasionally, chests will contain tools from previous explorers...
- Random Village Names: makes villages even more homely.
Visuals:
- Falling Leaves: one of the coolest looking ambient mods in all of Minecraft.
- Oculus: shaders!!!!
- Rubidium: super helpful for optimizing the game.
- Physics Mod: one of the most entertaining mods to play around with. I recommend lowering the timing for particle life.
- Advancement Plaques: finally, the feel of finishing an advancement in visual form.
- Neko's Enchanted Books: the unique look for each enchantment is super cool and completely compatible with all the other mods.
- Effective: these splashes feel smoothhhhhh.
- More Axolotl Variants: this includes various real-life forms of Axolotls.
- Eating Animations: looks super sweet and reminiscent of VR.
- Better Mineshafts: vanilla mineshafts look terrible. This makes them look great and fun to explore.
Solving issues with base game:
- Simple voice chat: talking to players nearby should really be in the base game.
- Stg: missing a zombie because of tall grass sucks!
- Controllable: Minecraft operates very well on a controller.
- Aquatic Torches: underwater torches really should be a thing.
- Connectible Chains: this looks so much better than the base chains.
- Death Finder: misplaced loot causes 150% of all Minecraft ragequits.
- Dual Riders: riding with a friend!!!! What's cooler than this?
- Target Dummy: knowing your exact damage numbers could save your life.
- FPS Monitor: so you don't need 3rd party software.
