Chronos Tech

A tech space focused modpack.

Time is the last resource that still runs out.

Chronos Tech is a NeoForge 1.21.1 kitchen-sink built around one loop: survive the night, industrialize the day, then spend time itself to reach orbit. Hordes, relics, and ruined cities sit on top of a full Mekanism / AE2 / ProjectE factory layer, with Ad Astra and a Dyson sphere as the actual endgame—not another storage disk.

The clock

Time in a Bottle and Tempad are not side toys. Bottle minutes while your reactors spin, then dump that time into farms, furnaces, and quarries. Tempad jumps you across a world that has been rebuilt from the ground up—YUNG dungeons, Epic Structures villages and temples, Bloxy structures, Lost Cities wrecks, underground bunkers, and Alex’s Caves sitting under an Expanded Ecosphere surface. When the map is too big, Xaero’s World Map + Minimap and FTB Chunks keep the timeline readable.

Industry

Progression is greedy on purpose.

  • Mekanism + Tools + Generators for ore, gas, fission, and fusion
  • Applied Energistics 2 with ExtendedAE, AdvancedAE, AppliedE, wireless terminals, and infinity boosters for the network that eventually eats the pack
  • ProjectE (Rebalanced + Expansion + integrations) as the late economy—EMC is a reward, not a skip button
  • Powah, Oritech, Electrodynamics, Nuclear Science, RFTools, and Flux Networks for the ugly middle voltages
  • Project Red, Just Dire Things, Modular Routers, Pipez, and Building Gadgets for the factory floor
  • Iron Jetpacks, Iron Furnaces, and Additional Enchanted Miner so the first hours are not wooden-pick hell

Storage is Sophisticated Backpacks / Storage, EnderChests / EnderTanks, and AE2. If it does not fit in a disk, it does not belong on the base.

The sky

Ad Astra plus Giselle, More Structures, and Per Spatium. Leave the horde-soaked overworld, land on planets that still have loot tables, then plug the factory into Dyson Cube Project and stop pretending coal was ever the plan. UFO FUTURE and industrial deco packs (Blocks You Need, IndustrialDeco, MOA Decor: Science, NeonDeco, Factory Blocks, XK’s Decoration, Chisel / Chipped) exist so the moon base does not look like a dirt hut with solar panels.

The nights

This is not a peaceful tech pack.

The Hordes, Undead Nights, Enhanced Hordes, and Zombie Awareness turn sunset into a logistics problem. Champions and Midnight Nightmares pad the elite table. You answer with Apotheosis (attributes, enchanting, spawners), Relics + Relics of Rain / Arcane Abilities / More Relics, Artifacts + Reliquified Artifacts, Silent Gear, Superb Warfare, and Hostile Neural Networks. Die with a plan; the bottle does not pause a siege.

Lootr, Better Archeology, and the structure overhauls (Hopo portals, DnT fortress/monument, Luki strongholds, Underground Rivers / Bunkers) keep exploration worth the risk. Mob Grinding Utils is there for when you are done being sporting.

Living in it

QoL is treated as infrastructure: EMI + JEI + EMI Loot, Jade, Waystones, Easy Villagers, Traveler’s Backpack, Accessories / Curios, Construction Sticks, FTB Ultimine, Mouse Tweaks, Controlling, Inventory Sorter. Performance is Sodium + Lithium + ModernFix + ImmediatelyFast + Entity Culling, with Iris, Complementary Unbound, and Euphoria Patches if you want the factory to look like it cost something.

Fresh Animations / ETF / EMF / ESF, Particular, Explosive Enhancement, Sound Physics, and Extreme Sound Muffler are the coat of paint. Turn them off if the night already has enough noise.
