English
The official client modpack for the Cheesecake City Minecraft server. The server is already in your server list: install, launch, play.
The pack keeps the game vanilla: no new blocks, items or mobs. It makes Minecraft run smoother and adds a map. This also makes it a good lightweight pack for single player.
What you get
- Much higher FPS and lower memory use, even on older laptops
- A minimap and a full world map with waypoints
- Shader support: use any shader pack you like
- Sensible graphics defaults: render distance 10, VSync off, FPS capped at 120
Included mods
- Sodium: replaces Minecraft's rendering engine. The game looks the same but often runs at two to three times the frame rate, with fewer stutters.
- Iris: lets you use shader packs (realistic lighting, shadows, waving plants) together with Sodium. Download a shader pack such as Complementary or BSL and select it under Options → Video Settings → Shader Packs.
- JourneyMap: a minimap in the corner of your screen and a fullscreen map (press
J). Set waypoints for your base and other places you want to find again (pressB), and see where you died. It also maps caves. - Entity Culling: skips drawing mobs, chests and other entities hidden behind walls. Helps a lot in busy bases, farms and villages.
- ImmediatelyFast: draws the HUD, text, signs and item frames faster.
- FerriteCore: reduces how much RAM the game needs.
- Mod Menu: adds a "Mods" button to the main menu. There you can see all mods and change their settings.
- Fabric API and Placeholder API: helper libraries the other mods need. They add no features of their own.
