Welcome to Changed and Continued!

A modpack focused on refreshing and adding to the vanilla experience to extend the longevity of a playthrough.

In Changed and Continued the world changes around the player with time, many aspects of the game have seen changes, additions and some difficulty added to them to make a playthrough last longer while still keeping a vanilla feel.

All mods have been carefully picked and configured to be both impactful and work seamlessly together.

Optifine is not needed nor compatible as many performance-boosting mods are already included, as well as many of its features such as zoom and shader support.

The modpack consists of five main parts:

Change with time:

The world changes around you with the addition of temperature and seasons through Cold Sweat and Serene Seasons.
Villages are more alive and improve over time with Regrowth, Haunted Harvest and Snowy Spirit.
The surroundings change over time through Immersive Weathering.

Continuation of vanilla:

Many of the in-place mechanics have seen expansions and changes, such as a new enchanting system with Apotheosis.
Farmer's Delight with additions (Cultural Delight, Nether's Delight and Brewing And Chewin') expands upon food and farming.
New tiers of armour have been added through mods such as Advanced Netherite.

Complements to vanilla:

Many of the vanilla palettes of blocks have been expanded and added to with new variants. This is done through Create, Decorative Blocks, Quark, Twigs, Dramatic Doors, and Biomes O' Plenty among others. Most block types are also seamless between variants, with mods such as Decorative Blocks Compat, Compat O' Plenty, Every Compat and configuration.
To add to the longevity of the game, moving contraptions and more automation are added with Create and End Remastered making the journey to The End longer to name a few.
Biomes O' Plenty adds a plethora of biomes, which are enhanced with Ecologics, Naturalist and Verdure.

Performance:

To support all mods added, a collection of performance-boosting mods have been added, including Radium Reforged, Starlight, Rubidium and Krypton Reforged.

Quality of life:

This is the biggest category of them all, spanning from mechanics to single blocks to GUI changes. Due to this, there are too many to list here, but all are included in the complete mod list below.

Three resource packs are applied by default. If you wish to remove any of these, locate your modpack folder and go to /config/paxi/resourcepacks and delete the matching zip file.
Nights are darker by default, this can be tweaked in video settings under extras
