Chambert's Vanilla is a lightweight quality-of-life Minecraft modpack made for a mostly vanilla multiplayer server. The goal of the pack is to keep the normal Minecraft survival experience intact while adding a few useful client-side tools that make everyday gameplay smoother, clearer, and easier to manage.
This pack does not add major new progression systems, mobs, dimensions, technology, magic, or heavy gameplay changes. Instead, it focuses on simple improvements that help players navigate the world, check recipes, organise inventories, and understand what they are looking at while still playing regular vanilla Minecraft.
Features
World map and minimap support
JourneyMap adds a minimap and full-screen world map. This helps players explore the server, mark important locations, find their way back home, and keep track of bases, farms, villages, caves, and community areas.
In-game recipe lookup
Just Enough Items allows players to view crafting recipes and item uses directly in-game. This makes it easier to craft blocks, tools, and items without needing to leave the game or search a wiki.
Improved multiplayer recipe support
Just Enough Serverless Recipes helps recipe information remain useful while playing on a server, making the recipe viewer more reliable for multiplayer survival.
Inventory management improvements
Mouse Tweaks and Nemo’s Inventory Sorting make it faster and easier to move, sort, and organise items. Players can clean up inventories and chests with less repetitive clicking, which is especially useful after mining, farming, building, or looting.
Helpful block and entity information
Jade shows useful information about the block, container, or entity the player is looking at. This helps players quickly identify what they are interacting with without changing the core gameplay.
Player Experience
Chambert's Vanilla is intended to feel like normal Minecraft, just more convenient. Players can still gather resources, build bases, explore caves, farm, trade, and play survival as usual, but with fewer small frustrations.
For example, a player can explore far from spawn using the map, mark their base location, check a crafting recipe through JEI, identify blocks with Jade, and sort their inventory after returning from a mining trip. These features make the game easier to use without turning the server into a heavily modded experience.
Why Use This Pack?
Chambert's Vanilla is designed for players who want to join the server with the same basic quality-of-life tools installed. It keeps the server experience simple and familiar while making navigation, crafting, and inventory management more comfortable.
This is a small, focused modpack for a vanilla-style server: Minecraft survival, with helpful tools and a cleaner user experience.
