Cave Game Tech Test
This modpack is meant to recreate the feeling I had when playing older versions of Minecraft as a kid, not knowing much about the game other than that it was infinite, there were weird unexplainable things that happened in the world, and you were alone.
Make sure to turn on the music and enable the resource packs!
I recommend not using the default world type - instead use the Alpha, Beta or OTG --> Wildlands presets.
This pack is essentially a homage to old Minecraft. Rather than trying to be an exact replica of these older versions, it instead tries to capture both the quiet serenity but also the often felt eerieness they had.
The pack is moderately difficult but not RLCraft levels of hell, and the config has been tweaked to make the more extreme stuff rarer.
• You need Minecraft Forge 1.12.2 Version 14.235.2860 or above for the mods to run.
• If you want to record gameplay through OBS, make sure you use Screen Capture or Window Capture to record as Game Capture will result in the game crashing.
