Catabasis (Ancient Greek): a descent into the depths, often into the underworld or the unknown.
The world is old.
Its kingdoms have crumbled into ruins, its roads lead to forgotten civilizations, and beneath its mountains lie depths that were never meant to be explored. Every horizon hides another mystery, every expedition uncovers another secret, and every descent carries the promise of something far older than humanity.
Catabasis is a dark fantasy adventure modpack built around exploration, atmospheric worldbuilding, and meaningful progression.
