Caramel Sauce is a modpack designed around enhancing the vanilla feel without all of the grind and with a few things that we've all wanted in vanilla for the longest time! (Lightly changed vanilla is "vanilla with sprinkles", we're more heavily modified but not super modified, so its caramel sauce on the vanilla :D )
The mods selected for this pack are designed to mimic the vanilla feel and add any quality of life improvements. An additional requirement for the mods chosen was to not add in new tech trees.
Here's what we've added as solutions to vanilla problems:
* We've added a storage solution (storage drawers) - so that we don't have to make overly complex redstone that lags out the game.
* We've added a building assistant (builder's wands) - that way we spend less time building basic shapes
* Resource gathering (that way we don't have to tear up the overworld) - for the Official Caramel Sauce server we even changed the chunks to up ore generation and biome type
* Inventory and control solutions (JEI, inventory tweaks, mouse tweaks) - basic quality of life improvements
* Inventory solution (Iron backpacks) - basic level backpacks in order to improve inventory transit but not make a whole new storage tech tree
* Mining - (veinminer, fast leaf decay) - to cut down on the time we spend gathering resources and more time doing what we really want!
