Captain's OriginSMP

Mod Packs for my origin SMP

This Modpack contains Origins (Fabric), Fabric API, Consular' Origins, Mob Origins, Mythical Origins, Pehkui, Proman's Origins, Witherborn Origins.

These mods combine together to offer players 42 different choices of Origins to start off with.

 

For those who don't know, Origins allow players to start their Minecraft experience with different attributes. Each Origin acts as a race that the player can become and each Origin has pros and cons to them. Some impact the game very little, while others can completely change how a person plays their game.

 

This modpack contains everything required for users to play Origins, which has to be run on Fabric. This version of Origins is compatible with 1.18-1.18.1

Captain's OriginSMP content is also viable for users to put into a multiplayer server and can support as many players as their server can handle.

 

List of starting Origins offered and a brief description of what can be expected from said Origin. The mods will be listed from least impactful to most impactful of a player's Minecraft experience.


Human: Nothing special, you are a boring human. (Vanilla Minecraft Experience)

 

Avian: You fall slower, run faster, lay an egg every morning, but you have to sleep above block height 86 and cannot eat meat.

 

Skeleton:You can shoot an arrow at anytime with a short cool-down and you are not affected by poison, but you are not affected by regeneration potions and burn in sunlight.

 

Arachnid: You can climb walls, walk easily through cobwebs, and enemies you hit get cobwebbed when you hit them, but you cannot eat meat and you have 3 less hearts.


Wolf: You are faster and stronger during the full moon, wolves you tame are stronger, you can howl to strengthen yourself and your wolves, you get strength and speed when near 4+ wolves, but you can only eat meat and have two less hearts.


Husk: Anything you hit gets poisoned, you are not affected by poison or regeneration.


Fox: You are fast when around 3+ people, sweet berries give you more food, sweet berry bushes don't hurt you, your item pickup radius is much larger, you are faster, but you have two less hearts.


Drowned: You do more damage with tridents, guardians won't attack you, and you do more damage in water, but you take more damage from smite, burn in daylight, can only eat meat, and lose hunger faster.


Elyrian: You have a permanent elytra, you can boost yourself 20 blocks into the air every 30 seconds, and you do more damage while flying, but you can't wear armor better than chainmail, being under a low ceiling gives you weakness and slowness, and you take more fall damage.

 

Shulk: You have 9 more inventory slots that are permanent, even through death, you get a small amount of natural permanent armor points, you can break stone without a pick-axe, but you cannot wield a shield and lose hunger faster.


Feline: Creepers are scared of you, you take no fall damage, you can jump higher, you don't make any footstep noise, you can see in the dark, but you cannot mine stone without two stone being adjacent and have one less heart.


Gnome: You become proficient with the first weapon/tool you use, you take no fall damage, you have a larger jump, and move faster, but you are half sized, half healthed, and have half the reach as a human.


Enderian: You can enderpearl where ever you are looking by activating you ability and you can reach farther than normal, but you take damage when contacting water and pumpkins make players invisible.

 

Slime: You take no fall damage, all blocks are bouncy, you can summon slimes at the cost of food, but when you are less than 2 hearts, you deal almost no damage but have massive knock-back.


Witch: You have the ability to drink a potion which adapts to best suit your current situation, potions you drink last longer, but villagers don't like you and pillagers do like you.

 

Evoker: You can summon fangs from the floor and you have a 10% chance to not consume a totem of undying upon use, pillagers like you, but villagers do not.

 

Bee: When punching someone, you inflict poison, when near flowers you gain regeneration, you can collect honey from hives without the bees becoming angry, you can also slowly fall, you start with 2 less hearts than normal.

 

Vex: You have the ability to fly and phase through walls (except obsidian). You can also dash and are half a block tall. You deal +2 damage with swords. You are also invisible while phasing.

 

Bat: You have creative flight when not exposed to the sun and are tiny. The world is de-saturated color wise.  You can evolve into a vampire using a coffin.

 

Warden: You are blind like the warden and can only see nearby mobs that are moving. Your size and health are increased. You are slower and cannot wield shields.

 

Enchantling: You cannot eat normally. Instead, you consume experience from your experience bar for food. You can also study bookshelves for xp. Finally, you are not affected by potion effects.


Merling: You breath underwater instead of on land, underwater your vision is perfect, you have aqua affinity, you move faster underwater and cannot sink in water unless you want to.


Axolotl: You can regenerate health by activating an ability, you move fast underwater but slow on land, you breath underwater instead of on land, underwater your vision is perfect, you have aqua affinity, you move faster underwater and cannot sink in water unless you want to.

 

Brute: You do +2 dmg with axes, you have +10 hearts, you are half piglin and piglins will not attack you, you can enter a barbarian rage, but you move slower, spawn naturally in the nether, can only eat meat, and cannot wear armor better than chainmail.


Stoneling: You cannot be poisoned, you naturally have some armor points, you have night-vision when not in sunlight, you can break stone without using pickaxes, you spawn in a mine shaft, but you burn in sunlight.


Blazeborn: You are immune to all types of fire damage, when on fire you deal more damage, you are immune to hunger and poison status effects, but you take damage from water and naturally spawn in the nether.

 

Phantom: You are translucent, you can phase through walls and the floor at the cost of accelerated hunger, but you burn in the daylight and have 3 less hearts.

 

Snow Golem: You can throw damage dealing snowballs, you can leave a trail of snow, you deal more damage in cold areas, but you take damage from water, and you will slowly die in hot areas.


Strider: You can walk on lava and do so faster than on land, you are immune to fire, you can eat warped fungus for food, and other players can ride you, but you take damage from water and naturally spawn in the nether.


Guardian: You have a chance to inflict thorns damage on attackers, guardians will not attack you, you have some natural armor points, you breath underwater instead of on land, underwater your vision is perfect, you have aqua affinity, you move faster underwater and cannot sink in water unless you want to. Walking on land is like walking on ice and you are weakened on land.


Fairy: You are immune to poison and hunger status effects, you gain strength and resistance in forests, you have nine additional inventory spaces, you are constantly transparent, you have creative flight, but cannot jump over blocks and must fly over them,you have three less hearts, you cannot wear armor stronger than chainmail, and have to sleep in bends at least 86 blocks or higher.


Dragon: You have natural armor points, you have +3 hearts, you do +2 damage with every hit, you have a permanent elytra, but you take damage from water, lose hunger faster in the nether, can only eat meat, cannot wield a shield, and cannot wear armor that is not diamond or better.


Elf: You have night vision, you do +3 damage in forests, you walk faster on leaves, but you are only 1.5 blocks tall, you have 2 less hearts than humans, and you can only sleep in forests.

 

Mermaid: You have aqua affinity, you can breath both on water and land, you can swim very fast and have underwater night vision, you spawn near ship wrecks, and do +2 damage with tridents, but you move slower on land, take more fire damage, and cannot wield a shield.

 

Werewolf: You can turn into a werewolf at night which gives you strength, speed, night vision, and increases your height to four blocks tall. However, you move slower under the sun, you take double fall damage when not in werewolf form, you can only eat meat, you have 2 less hearts in human form, you cannot use a shield in werewolf form.


Baxterra: You constantly have dark particles surrounding you, you can cast a fire ball every minute, monsters give 1.5x experience, you have an elytra, you can summon lightning every 30 seconds, you spawn in forests, but you can only eat meat, you can only sleep below Y level 40, you burn in sunlight, you take double fire/lava damage, you are slow, and you take damage from water.


Draconous: You are immune to poison and hunger status effects, you can take more hits, you have a permanent elytra, you have natural armor points, you can mine stone with your fists, but you exhaust faster, can only eat meat, have to sleep at Y level 120+, being under a low ceiling gives you weakness and slowness, you take damage from water, you spawn in the end.

 

Giant: You have extra inventory space, you can reach 1.5x the distance humans can, you do +2 damage, you have natural armor points, you are 4 blocks tall, you have 4 extra hearts, but you can only eat meat, you have to sleep at Y level 120+, you exhaust faster, and you cannot swim or use elytras.

 

Witherborn: Every three minutes you can give yourself absorption 3 and slowness 2 for 2 minutes. You gain strength and speed in the nether, you gain regeneration near nether brick blocks, you are immune to fire in the nether, you can fire a wither skull every 30 seconds, you are immune to withering, but you take damage from water, you gain slowness and weakness in the end, you can only eat meat, you spawn in the nether in a soul sand valley, you are friends with pillagers and enemies with villagers, you get less xp in the Overworld, and you get hungry faster.


Allay: You love cookies and they give you more saturation, you have slow flight, you gain strength near jukeboxes, you are smaller than humans and can reach less than them, you can light up any item on the floor, but you have 5 less hearts, lose hunger faster, and get targeted by Vexes over other players,


[Redacted]: You have a permanent elytra, you can launch yourself into the air 20 blocks every 30 seconds, you have natural night vision, you can break stone blocks with your fists, you drip redstone particles, you can walk on lava, you eat fuel sources instead of regular food, you are taller than humans, you spawn in the end, if your health drops below 4 hearts then you gain blindness, you are slower than humans, and entering water gives you slowness, nausea, and hunger.

 

Basilisk: Hitting a creature will give them poison, you are immune to poison, you have natural armor points, and you regain hunger by killing creatures. However, you gain hunger faster, take more damage from wolves and spiders, and are slower on land.
