The BWxMC modpack was created with convenience in mind. Since there are no tech mods, the game is still very close to how vanilla is played. The difference is in some of the convenience of being able to claim land against griefing, backpacks to store more items, a search bar for recipes, a minimap and more.
The modpack is designed to be 'lite' for the client-side. I've omitted multiple world generating and server-side mods from this mod pack to keep it smaller. The BlackWater Village Server will have all the mods intended and players can enjoy the full experience there. The server is basically a vanilla+ server with no tech mods. It is preloaded on the modpack when you select 'Multiplayer' at the main menu.

CLAIMING LAND
/openpac-claims claim
you can claim up to 30 plots. To have friends included in use of your claims, you will need to add them to your party.
First, create the party through
/openpac-parties create
Then send them an invite through
/openpac-parties invite 'user'
the permissions can be changed and accessed from the ' key
SHADERS
Shaders are possible on our modpack without Optifine. You can find the shaders folder through the in game settings from options>video settings>shaders>open shaders folder
drop in your favourite shader pack and you're ready to go!
Other mods to know about
Just enough items (JEI)
This mod helps you find out how to make pretty much anything in the game. Press 'E' and you'll see everything available in our server on the right side. Search what you're interested in and left click to see how to make it or right click to see what it makes.
For example, search "planks" and left click will show that logs create planks. Right clicking will show that planks make barrels, beds, etc.
Traveler's Backpack and Storage
These mods make item carrying and organizing a breeze. In JEI, search up backpack and you'll see what you need to make one. The backpack can be access from the "b" key and can be upgrade to hold more items. Not only does it hold items, you can upgrade it to store experience, magnet nearby materials, or even feed you.
Storage will do the same as backpacks but apply these wonderful upgrades to your storage chests.
Aquaculture 2
If you enjoy the water content, Aquaculture 2 is really rewarding. Search "tacklebox" in JEI and start fishing! you can fish up all kinds of armor and goods from fishing. You can also make better fishing rods with special hooks to make fishing easier!
