The Bullbarian Collective
I've been playing Minecraft since Alpha 1.0 and I'm amazed by its ability to continually capture my imagination over and over again. That said, there are many things that simply aren't available in the Vanilla version, and that's where mods come in. Specifically, vanilla falls short in two basic areas: quality of life in the mid-to-advanced game and a lack of overall variety during any one playthrough.
Some of the bigger modpacks, like BMC and Rust certainly breathed new life into our MC gameplay. I've thoroughly enjoyed each of them for many dozens of hours, but I've always had a few personal preferences - just one more mod, or this mod instead of that one.
So, this collection is designed - first and foremost - to be the personal take that my friends and I take on the MC modding world. It has mods designed to allow ease of use for end-game tasks (like Refined Storage) and also provides more content to play through, like Blue Skies and Under Garden. Additionally, it has Create and multiple options for that system, which allows for automation of many simple but powerful tasks throughout all stages of a playthrough.
So, it may feel similar to many, but IMO that is the point of multiple collections - an altered combination of many of the most widely acclaimed mods in use by the community today.
