Mod changes

None. The mod changes in the client pack this release (Farsight removed, Colorwheel and Dynamic FPS added) are all client-side and are not shipped here. Forge does not require client-only mods to match the server list.

Ultimine is much easier to unlock

Ultimine Addition now runs in Legacy mode. Players craft one Miner Certificate (paper in the centre, diamond pickaxe above, iron axe left, golden hoe right, stone shovel below), mine 64–128 ores with it in their inventory, then right-click it to unlock Ultimine permanently for every tool.

The previous mode required four Mining Skill Cards, each levelled up through ten challenges in a Skills Record, before the certificate could be crafted. Mining Skill Cards and Skills Records stop working in Legacy mode.

With the tier-based cap off, FTB Ultimine's max_blocks = 48 applies to every player, with the existing hunger and XP cost per block.

Config

config/bcc-common.toml → modpackVersion = "1.0.9". Better Compatibility Checker compares this against the client on join. Clients on 1.0.8 will be warned.

Upgrading from 1.0.8

1. Stop the server.
2. Back up world/.
3. Copy config/ and defaultconfigs/ from this pack over your installation. mods/ and kubejs/ are unchanged.
4. Existing worlds only: defaultconfigs/ seeds a new world and nothing else. Open world/serverconfig/ultimine_addition/server-config.toml and set tier_based_max_blocks = false.
5. Start the server.

Tell your players before you restart that the old skill cards stop working and Ultimine now comes from the Miner Certificate.

Notes

• server.properties ships with RCON disabled and a blank password, white-list=false and online-mode=true. Set your own before going public.
• No world is included.
• Known and harmless: two IDAS spawner warnings in the log (Couldn't parse spawner mob list idas:dread_citadel / idas:archmages_tower).
