In a world of new mechanics, we search for new ways of doing the same old thing. Mining, transporting and crafting have always been things we strive to automate. While we are missing the usual Build Craft, we turn to Immersive Engineering to pick up the slack. Automation is the name of the game here, and we do the best we can with some new ways of automation.

Transportation

No longer do we have our pipes and advanced rails and carts. However, with mods like Signals, and Immersive Engineering, we can still transport items long distances between stations. Once at those stations, we can throw the items onto conveyors and move them to the large crafting machines.

Cosmetic

Sure, what we build functions great, but it's not much to look at. Here comes Chisel, as well as Chisels and Bits to save us. Anything we can think of can be designed. From new block designs from Chisel, to entirely unique shapes with the help of Chisels and Bits. Schematica can help save all those great designs and constructs to be reused over and over.

Mining

"What about my world-destroying quarries I love?" Well, let me introduce you once again to Immersive Engineering. Here, we have the Excavator. This beast looks great while running; including full rotary action. While it delivers the precious ores in the area, it will keep your landscape looking pretty.

Power

With how great this thing is, it requires a lot of power. Using either the Diesel Generator from Immersive Engineering, or the new reactor for Industrial Craft 2, you should be able to get plenty of power for this magnificent marvel.

Support

Along with all these great mods, we bring in several helper mods to make day-to-day life easier. Fast Leaf Decay, Auto Packager, and Iron Chests are just a few things to help with all the heavy hitters. To reduce some strain on servers, we have w00t. This helps reduce the number of items laying on the ground because of a typical mob grinder. Instead, w00t figures out what is dropped by a specific mob, and spits it into the world (or an attached chest) at regular intervals.
