This modpack is being designed from the ground up for 1.18.2
It will be a tech-heavy mod with light magic mods. It is being retooled to be an 'expert' or 'hard-core' mod pack.
It is currently in Alpha state which is being uploaded here in order to share with testers, quest and content creators, and server admins.
Our roadmap:
A hardcore/expert type of mod-pack that makes you utilize most all mods in order to progress.
quests that focus on exploring all the mods and progressing through a tech tree
quests that reward greatly for massive automation
ability to craft 'creative' version of objects as end-game massive automation results.

The 1.12 version:
love playing with the techno mods but don't like it intermixing with all the magic? This mod pack is pure tech and has a technical aspect from very early game to late. The pack includes both major technical branches (TE and Mekanism), as well as storage solutions from AE2, Refined storage, etc.
This pack will be updated weekly.
Overall Goals:
- To make the tech ladder a much smoother curve without bottleneck gates
- To present the most lag-free environment we can by both omitting massive world-changing mods, promoting automated mining in a mining dimension, and making compact machines as cheap as possible to try and push as much tech-lag into the compact machines dimension.
Features and Benefits:
- Cofh World is utilized to streamline world generation. The overworld is geared for manual mining without all the useless granite, limestone, andorite, etc; and the mining dimension (Aroma1997) is tuned to provide both the ore and resources to keep technical progression moving along.
- Integrated Dynamics processing has been tweaked into Thermal Expansion so you can finally stop jumping on that manual ID squeezer.
- Mid to late game resource generation is being provided by a heavily tweaked version of Environmental tech that makes the first two tiers energy efficient but has major power penalties after T2.
- no OP Power generation (i.e. Extreme Reactors). Progression on our test servers has usually gone something like Canola Oil (AA)->Lava (TE)->Tree Oil(TE)->Nuclear Craft(End).
- Open Computers is tweaked to use the much cheaper friendly or "Peaceful" mode encouraging its use from the start.
- Compact machines are cheaper, use them to push your machine processing into another dimension -- Keep that base lag free!
- The massive reactor mods are *not* included. Late game power generation should either be done by NuclearCraft, which is really lag free on it's big setups, or Draconic Evolution (boom!)
- No magic mods -- no major gameplay altering mods -- The world is almost vanilla short of Menril trees and a few CofH mobs. This keeps it lag free.
- Chisel, Fairy lights, BlockCraftery, etc. is included so your tech base can be built up the way YOU want it.
